i guess great minds think alike wes, cuz this week i had the idea of doing a young guns kind of thing this week... at least for one of them. for gordon i just thought it'd be funny if he snapped and fought crime on his own... this is the moment he snaps

Man! I wish I could color like you do. That Hawkman is awesomely colored. Did you take Photoshop classes or read books or just practice? Honestly, I've really only been messing with it since we started this and I like flats but I would like to get better at it.
ReplyDeletethanks wes! i'm still learning a lot about color, theres SO much there. but to answer your question i've done all of those things. its good that you like flats cuz thats where it all starts. once you've got your flats down you can build up color from there. if you can i'd say find any of the gnomon dvd's on painting. they are really good. and above all else, keep at drawing! or i guess painting in this case...
